Did anyone else watch this last night?
It was really good. Something syfi has been missing since Battlestar Galactica went off the air.

Lex Luthor 01-22-2013 12:28 PM

I set the DVR to record it, haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

I agree, the previews looked promising.

That was my plan but it came on and I kept watching it.

Hays 01-22-2013 02:49 PM

I have it on dvr, haven't started it yet.

The premeire was a week ago. I liked it a lot. Haven't watched last night's yet. Lots of old stargate actors on it.

I see Tony Amendola and one of the supporting guys from SGU, but who else?

PS- it was great seeing the CSM from X-Files.

mnchiefsguy 01-22-2013 06:02 PM

Is this a new show, or has it been around a couple of seasons? It might be worth checking out, if there not too many seasons to go back and watch.

It's a new show, sorta. It just started broadcasting here, but it started last May in Canada.

Cool. Thanks. May have to check it out when I have time. Rachel Nicols being in it is a plus as well. :thumb:

downloading episode 1 on demand and catching 2 on a reair, will report back how it goes~

Frosty 01-23-2013 09:50 AM

FWIW, if you missed the first two episodes, like me, SciFi will be showing the first three episodes back to back on 1/31 starting at 7 (CST).

I watched the shows Sunday and Monday night, and thought that the one on Sunday was the premiere.

In any case, I enjoyed it.

I find time travel to be the most interesting scifi subject.

ShowtimeSBMVP 01-23-2013 08:07 PM

I see SyFy is just playing the ones that already aired in Canada.

Here is the first 10 Episodes if you don't wanna wait.

hometeam 01-23-2013 08:08 PM

Welp, turns out that I like it enough to keep watching it, hopefully it doesn't wane by mid season.

KCSportsZone86 01-24-2013 05:21 AM

I have not been a huge SyFy fan but this show def kept my attention and I will be watching again.Hope it stays this good....

bevischief 01-24-2013 11:00 AM

The only reason I even watched Syfi and find out about this show was the Star Trek movies that was on before it came on. All the new shows I don't care for.

Third Eye 07-22-2013 12:00 AM

Anybody still watching this? I feel like it just continues to get better.

Silock 07-22-2013 12:10 AM

Show is amazing. One of the best on TV right now.

Hays 07-22-2013 07:05 AM

I watch it, think it is really good.

I just started to sit down and start defiance as well. Only 2 eps into that one.

I tried to like Defiance, but I couldn't.

hometeam 07-22-2013 06:51 PM

Been watching it. Me and the GF where just talking about the difference in season, including the physical appearance of Kiera.

She had that skin tag removed from under her eye for one.

Who would have thought we would have two different hotties named Rachel Nichols to stare at on TV?

Yea, my lady saw it instantly. It also appears she has dropped some weight.

Also, she is bangin' She looks like she really wants to 'teach you a lesson'

I just finished watching all 23 episodes, and I really like it.

Its smart, its science fiction, it has intriguing story lines and limitless possibilities, and most importantly it has HOT chicks.

Here are my thoughts so far. If you have not seen all 23 episodes, and still want to, don't look in this spoiler tag.

Spoiler!

hometeam 08-20-2013 10:50 AM

We watch it every week, keeps getting better and better.

Third Eye 03-23-2014 11:43 PM

Season 3 is starting off well. Anybody watching it or just waiting for the Syfy broadcasts?

Hays 03-24-2014 07:04 AM

Waiting for Syfy broadcast which starts in early April I believe.

Where are you getting yours?

Torrents. I don't torrent movies or music, but I feel no guilt for television.

Buck 03-24-2014 07:10 PM

I'm like 7 episodes through season 1, it's pretty cool so far. Waiting for them to get completely into the story for a couple episodes instead of the weekly procedural, or else I'd already be all in.

It gets way better in the 2nd season.

Silock 03-26-2014 11:55 PM

Season 3 is meh. They're falling into the trap that all time-traveling shows eventually fall into -- too much convolution.

You think so? I've been enjoying it immensely.

007 03-09-2018 11:23 PM

This series was surprisingly fun to watch. Powered through it over the last two weeks. Season one was pretty good but season two was outstanding. Three lost its way but I was glad they were given the opportunity to get the short season four to conclude it.

i concur. it had it's weak moments at times, but overall was pretty good...

I watched this on NetFlix. Pretty good for TV.

Bowser 03-10-2018 09:02 AM

I stumbled across GI Joe: Rise of Cobra on TV a few days ago. Rachel Nichols is so damned fine in that movie (as is Sienna Miller. Dammit girl), just as she was in this show. I don't know what she has been in since Continuum came to and end, though.

*edit - looking at her wiki, looks like she's done a bunch of direct to video stuff.

Rausch 03-11-2018 06:57 AM

I've had this on my netflix list forever and (despite a really attractive lead) haven't watched it yet.

I hear it starts cheesy/cheap but gets much better...

It's an independent flick, made on the cheap, but very good.

I wouldn't say it's as good as PRIMER (my opinion, bla bla) but it's probably the 2nd best indie TT movie I've ever watched...
