If one kid signed autographs and took money, that has nothing to do with competitive balance.

Would you lick a chick's ass though?

Yeah right, Texas had the 24th ranked recruiting class in the nation according to Rivals this past season. Meanwhile, Alabama, Florida, LSU, Ole Miss, Auburn, Texas A&M, and Georgia were in the top 12.

Chizik won a National Championship at Auburn with Cam Newton, but was run out of town two years later. These coaches are only as good as the players they are able to recruit.

Do not care.

A rich kid, who has to sell his own autograph.

Brady Quinn did the same shit during his rookie training camp with the Browns. Its stupid, and selfish. Ill never pay for an autograph. I really hope this kid gets suspended......

Texas has been 2, 3, 3, 5 the past four seasons.

Texas' problem was putting all its eggs in the Garrett Gilbert basket than watched him fall on his face with nobody around to step in except Colt McCoy's little brother. That and Mack Brown.

Back on topic though, the offshore line on A&M vs Alabama moved 3 pts one week ago. People knew this story was going to break.

Now, if his family were poor, I can understand why he'd take this type of risk.

This right here. Even if poor though it's a dumb move. That autograph guy is also an ass for doing that.

Would he have been smart enough to take cash, from one person without any witnesses......if so its impossible to prove. All Johnny would have to do is deny it. If he took a check and multiple witnesses were around to see it then that is monumentally stupid

Texas has a lot more problems than that. Their defense was terrible last year, and it was supposed to be so good that they were going to be in the hunt for a NC even though their offense was mediocre. Gilbert was a class of 2009 recruit.
