Calibrate TV

Any advice on TV calibration? I have a 47 inch Sharp LCD, but don't want to spend $500 a best buy to have it done.

go to AVSForum and search for your model tv. most likely someone has posted settings for a very good calibration.

Play with the settings until it looks really good. Come on, it's a TV set.

Absolutely this. Usually you can find a few posts that are really close to what you like then you can tweak it just a little bit more to get it to what you want.
