Mark Donovan appreciation

let's appreciate what is clearly our unsung hero/ace in the hole during this process. Clark's right hand man and literally the only good guy on this stain of a staff/FO we had. I'm glad Clark promoted this guy back in 2011 when he had the chance.

hmmmm, to be honest I really do not know enough about what he brings to the table for the chiefs that allows me to judge him at his job.
I'm curious how he let Pioli get away with his dictatorship around the office complex for 4 years.

He's on the business side and reports are that he led the 9 hour Reid interview,

because he was part of the Eagles from 2003-2009, so he knows Andy. Clark had him as his man through this, making this entire transition possible.

I'm still not sold on Donovan being a good guy. He's an ivy leaguer, may have contributed to the CIA paranoia culture in the front office. We'll see.

I've spoken with him before on the phone. He's obviously a smart guy. Let's see if he helps fix what's broken, or if he's part of the problem.

If he did lead it he gets major kudos, however, I'm curious as to what Pioli did during this 9 hour session. Was he basically interviewing for his job?

It took 9 hours. For sure, they went through the entire roster player by player.

The only guy that knows the roster like that is Pioli.
