What is the difference between i.e. and e.g., is what I was/am asking.

IIRC, ie is "that is" and eg is "for example"...or vice-versa. Or not. :hmmm:

I guess I'm think skinned... Not sure anything that's ever been said to me has bothered me. If it goes to family members of CP folks I just feel sorry for the person who's weak at insults. But so far what I've seen here is playground-level insults lobbed at each other (sorta funny actually!!!) so there's not much to worry about...

Thanks again.

Roughly speaking:

i.e. means this is another way of saying what I just said (in other words...)

e.g. means this is an example of what I just said (for example...)

He only made one of the most insulting remarks to a member who, while the biggest homer in the history of CP, never really gets personal and is usually nice to everyone.

Link?

LMAO @ Hootie.

Dude, I love to argue with you about QBs. You get so riled up over it and act a lot like Dane. Seriously. You insulted me several times just the other day when we were discussing Flacco.

It doesn't bother me though. It's quality entertainment. That is why I'm here.

He has tested me to try and get a reaction more than a few times. I deal with him by not responding to his bullshit.

Good riddance. For a little while at least.

... and this is a guy with incredibly thick skin. We made soo much fun of him about his Chiefs tat and he took it like a man.

He's targeted me on a couple of occasions for no reason other than he disagreed with me on things that are a matter of opinion. He might have been a reasonable poster at one point, but as of late his posts seem to be nothing but insults and asterisks.

I'm tired of having otherwise interesting/informative threads devolve into dozens of pages of back-and-forth name calling that is completely unrelated to the thread it's in. Hopefully he'll figure his shit out over the course of his ban and come back a changed man.

I'm completely disgusted that Dane knew BossChief's son had an issue and then attacked him with it.

Really low class and uncalled for.

Props to BossChief for taking the high road with that because I wouldn't have been able to.

Insults are the best part about this forum. When done right.

Dane took it way too far.
