The second episode is brilliant so far. This evil Charlie stuff is cracking me up.

That show is funny as hell. The scene where he was taking a piss with the "servant" cleaning the urinal had me rolling on the floor.

"I recognize that, Charlie, but in this country, you have to realize that it's a sensitive issue... What about that one? He seems strong. Look at those massive thighs!"
"Yeah, those are good thighs, but you're gonna have a problem with work ethic."

I've been waiting until I can get my hands on the first season before I start watching this.

That's not really a prerequisite. I can honestly say it's right up there with AD in terms of pure comedic greatness, but there's nowhere near as much continuity porn, and all you really need to know about the characters is pretty easy to find out within an episode or two.

Really, all you need to know is that they're terrible, terrible people. :D

....and if you couldn't tell by my avi, I am a fan of the show. I have been watching since the very first episode.

I watched this show last year and really liked it. The best thing about it was the low key, low budget, no-name cast. I felt like I was the only one watching it. Then all of a sudden Danny Devito joins the show and I'm like, 'crap, that kinda spoils it for me'. Then I watch and it's still good.

The best show last year was when the dumb guy was dating a hermaphrodite. Hilarious! ROFL

I thought the same thing but if you think about it, DeVito isn't a big name any more. He is almost a no name actor again, most young people hardly know who the fuck he is never mind Taxi.

The underage drinking show last night was funny as hell.

The visual of that kid who looked to be 12 picking up a round of drinks at the bar [I think it was the opening shot after the first commercial break] was hilarious.

"If I have to listen to you talk about the stupid goddamned stuffed elephant any more, I'm going to punch you in the neck."

"I think we have a civic duty to allow these kids to drink in the bar. This way they won't get in trouble."

"If the McPoyles were getting blown, and Charlie was getting blown, why the hell why was I not getting blown?"

I caught this for the first time last night... it's hilarious.

I'm thinking about grabbing the season 1 and 2 DVD set today.

do it. i've been watching this show since day one. its the funniest thing on tv right now. this first season is really raw and very short, only about 8 episodes. the second season, becasue of DeVito's presense, got a lot more funding and made the jump to a more produced show.

Charlie makes the whole show for me.

I had Day Man stuck in my head the entire weekend. It's really a catchy tune.

It was great. I went back and looked at Charlies 'lyrics' and the pictures do match up with the song. Hilarious. Like the first two picture lyrics are a moon and a stickman.

I get mad at some of the episodes they are really assholes. haha

This is an awesome show. Until Devito showed up, it was a bunch of no-names which, to me, makes it even more special. Luckily, Devito doesn't suck so the show's still fresh.

The strange thing is, DeVito is the least funny one of the show too.

The only thing about this show that bothers me is that in the first season they made the bar seem darker and shadier. The past two seasons the bar seems a lot brighter.
