Understand now.

Goes with what I heard in the whole PM process fiasco.

Probably holding on to Pioli until their lawyers get everything together to fired him with cause and without pay...

If the Chiefs wait until late January or February to try to find a GM to replace Fat Scott, most of the quality candidates will already be hired at that point.

Senior Bowl is January 26th... it would be nice to have the HC and GM for 2013 in place by then.

He needs to do it with a pair of pliers and a mother****ing blowtorch...

Peyton knows that we're a threat. He knows that once Geno Smith arrives, people are going to forget that he ever existed.

You didn't realize Denver played KC yesterday?

I'm inclined to call bullshit on all this, "Clark hates Pioli, is taking away all his power, forcing him to quit" crap. Likely Clark and Pioli had this worked out months ago. Fire Romeo and leak out info like this to appease the angry part of the fanbase and media. Likely nothing will change as far as who does what (Pioli is still in charge) and as soon as the team starts winning again people will be OK with whatever.

I was thinking this too, but isn't Scott Pioli too egotistical to not get praise if we do start winning?

He doesn't watch the games. He's admitted as much.

This.

I don't buy the whole "Clark decided during/after the Denver game" BS.

Most intelligent post you've ever made

It slipped my mind. I've been following all this HC'ing drama hoping that nobody snags McCoy and Del Rio.
