I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

If he wants to say that Geno doesn't have the tools at the pro level, then he's even more miguided than I thought

He's not a perfect QB, but to question if he even has the tools to be a franchise QB in the pros based on this game IS a snap judgment.

Disagree?

I'm actually not watching the game. I watched half of the first quarter. He threw one pass that was really a great throw that was dropped, but most of it is dump offs and gadget reverses.

I questioned this long before today. I don't put all the stock in this game. That's stupid.

He had a really great game against Oklahoma, but the 2nd half of the season he did not look like the QB from the first 5 games. That's my concern. Granted, the first 5 games were insane, but it seemed after they were ranked, things went from great to decent. That's my concern.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing. Care to make a friendly signature wager?

Ill remind you of our circa 2000 Drew Brees discussion before you accept

Seriously.

Show me where Geno has shit the bed this season.

I'll be waiting right here.

Poorly? He played a bad game against Kansas State. Forced throws that he wasn't doing earlier in the year.

And while all of you are jumping up and down carrying on that I haven't watched Geno, I saw half of his games this year in their entirety.

What you're mistaking is the fact that I'm questioning how good he'll be in the NFL and painting me as someone who hates him.

I'll gladly take him as the QB of this team. I just have reservations about it.

Sue me.

So that Kansas State game didn't really happen?

K State is a pretty damn good defensive team.

Can you remind me now? I don't remember much of anything before 2011. :)

They are.

Which is why I wanted to see something from him that game.

Next year, he's going to face a lot of pretty good defensive teams.

I like the arm, I like the accuracy most of the time.

He's a better NFL prospect than all but 3 or 4 of the first-round QBs taken in the last 5 years.

Who's the 3 or 4?

He still ended up with a QB rating over 100 while getting hammered all game throwing 21/32 with 1 TD to 2 Ints. And that was hands down his absolute worst game of the season.

It was one of only two games he threw two interceptions. Only one of four games he threw any interceptions.

Barkley had six games where he threw two or more picks.

Tyler Wilson had five games where he threw two or more picks.

Mike Glennon had four games where he threw two or more picks.

Tyler Bray had four games where he threw two or more picks.

Stafford, Luck, RGIII. That's it, by my count.

I like his potential better than anyone but Luck.

And 60% of CP wanted to pass on Stafford at the time (if I recall correctly, his senior year was a quite a disappointment.)

Stafford, Luck, Griffin, and maybe Matt Ryan.

He's a far better prospect than Sanchez, Tannehill, Weeden, Gabbert, Locker, and Ponder.
