Six million dollar man . Greatest shows ever.

I didn't know Andre the Giant played bigfoot in one episode.

Great stuff.

I think the Tv series was almost a clone of J. Bond in certain ways.

Thoughts?

Never caught it

SciFi used to put it on.

Try Torrenting a few series. You'll like it . Good action. Intelligent scripts.

There were 2 Bigfoot episodes.

The series was based on Martin Caidin's 1971 novel "Cyborg".

It was a very cool show.

I really liked the one episode when he took off running real fast and he made this cool noise... kind of a ..nu nu nu nu nu nu nu nu.
That was the coolest.

The world literally stopped for me when Steve Austin was on TV. Hell, we used to play in slow motion as kids. I remember my Mom making me shirts with the strap in the shoulders like the Colonel so I could be like him. Kinda funny when I look back at those days. There was Bigfoot, but who remembers the Fembots and Maskatron? :hmmm:

If you look up The Man in the dictionary, you get this:

No, it's more like"na na na na na'.

Loved this show as a kid. I loved the Sasquatch episodes with Andre the Giant and the out of control Mars Rover.

I can remember always looking forward to watching it, and always getting bored when it actually came on. I must have been too young.

I think the appeal for me was the slo-mo, na na na na na stuff. If you were a kid in that era and didn't pretend to do that, you were a bit off.

Just one episode? Hate to burst the bubble, but it was every episode.

I think I even had a 6 million dollar man doll-action figure like the big G.I. Joe (kungfu grip). All I remember is you could look through his bionic eye....

ROYC75 05-02-2005 07:56 AM

The Bionic Woman was a spinoff, but she actually played Steve Austins girlfriend in several shows to start with.

and he had a crank on his back that would make his bionic arm lift heavy (plastic) stuff... i think it came with a plastic engine block or something like that...

There's a Christmas episode of the show where you can see a Steve Austin action figure on a toy store shelf.

That doll and the evil kenevil jet bike (the one that came with the crank launching pad and sparks came out of the jet engines....) were my favorites....
