The Draft

How do you think all of the FA signings will effect our pick?
Arizona signed Edgerin James will they go D with their pick or QB?

St. Louis has signed several defensive players i think they will pick an offensive player

Baltimore resigned their back and Mike Anderson do they go WR/QB or D?

Minnesota signed Chester Taylor pretty sure they are gonna draft a defensive player.

Who do you think will be available when we pick? Do we draft for need or best player available?

chiefsfaninNC 03-13-2006 05:29 PM

I think we will pick OL in the first. WR is our greatest need, but no one in the draft is worthy of a first rounder.

we definately want the teams ahead of us signing all the defensive free agents.

maybe that will push a good one down to us.

might happen

I think we should always take best available in the 1st round.. even if its at TE.. playmakers are playmakers!

BigChiefFan 03-13-2006 05:53 PM

Baltimore could be sitting pretty to get one of the top QBs if they should drop.

The Cards will probably go O-line.

St.Louis might have their sites on TE Vernon Davis or O-line help.

I think this speculation is more useless than most because more teams pick the best available player than otherwise.

Could anyone Break down how many draft picks the chiefs have and in what round

OnTheWarpath15 03-13-2006 06:59 PM

According to the huddlereport.com

R1 (20)
R2 (54)
R3 (85)
R5 (149)
R6 (176,180)
R7 (211)

We gave NYJ the 4th for Herm....

Gained the R6, 176 in the Fujita deal w/Dallas.

Matt Millen agrees with you.

I do think Zona goes defense.
I think St. Louis can now select Vernon Davis, if he's still there, or else they'll go D as well.
Baltimore should take QB, but they won't, unless Jay Cutler is still there. I be they go D.
Minnesota will go LB.

ROFL For real ...so a playmaking TE can ride the pine behind TG? No thanks

Bunkley and Hali are going to BAAs, and if KC does pick up Bernard I would be in favor of drafting Bunkley if Hali is unavailable. Sims can ride the pine
