Well from what I've heard from other people that have been stationed there is it's awesome and the weather's great and lots of good looking women, etc...but after a while you've seen all there is to see and you're just kind of trapped there unless you feel like buying a plane ticket. Besides, I don't do well in tempting situations with women...which is why Germany is out of the question and Florida currently feels like hell. How much trouble can I get into in Kansas?

Cost of living is fantastic in the Midwest. You wouldn't be too far from KSU or KU either if you're a fan of college athletics.

I hated Ft Hood...only saving grace is it's an hour from Austin

It's the same as any other mech Infantry Division with the exception of that it's located in the middle of Kansas, with Junction City as it's "main" town.
