.@SalvadorPerez15 is the third #Royals catcher to earn All-Star honors, joining Ellie Rodriguez (1969) and Darrell Porter (1978, 1980). I never would've guessed Rodriguez. I figured Piniella or Bob Oliver or a pitcher was the All-Star. |
Darrell Porter was a great catcher. He should be in the Royals HOF.

Wow. Im almost as surprised that we got 2 guys as I am that Holland didnt make it. Dude has clearly been one of the best closers this year, especially since the rough start.
