The Cure

Just got home from the concert. His voice was shot to hell but the music was terrific!

Robert Smith is one of the 80's singers who hasn't aged very well, IMO.
Though, I'd be all over that concert. Where was it?

Who is Robert Smith?

Wow, I wish I'd have known they were here. I guess I don't listen to the right radio stations.

I saw The Cure in Seattle back in the early 90's on their Wish tour. It was a great show, though it was clear that a good portion of the people there only knew them because of "Friday, I'm in Love".

One of the best parts about the concert was they played one of my all time favorite songs, "M".

I've been a big fan since the mid-80's but the last few CDs have been "eh". I thought Wild Mood Swings was a huge letdown after Wish, which I think was a great album, "Friday, I'm in Love" notwithstanding. Bloodflowers was close to unlistenable and The Cure was boring, with way too much of the vocal histrionics that ruined much of The Top, back in the day. I'm hoping their new album will be better.

This will probably always be my favorite Cure song:

though "Killing An Arab" is a near tie.
