Yeah, I found that to be REALLY interesting. I guess Harbaugh doesn't have any playing time or performance incentives in his contract....

You'd have to think he doesn't. He seemed pretty candid about it.

I know. I've followed Harbaugh's career pretty closely since his Michigan days and he's always been a 1st rate competitor. It's shocking, actually. I think Riley must be putting words in his mouth.

I guess Riley just thinks Harbaugh has served his purpose. He probably wanted Harbaugh's presence to take away Leaf's job-security. And it seems to have worked. Leaf seems focused, has quit b!tch!ng about his shoulder, and they may be able to build around him after all. Harbaugh's attitude seems to be a bit defeatist though, I agree.
