This reminds me of a question I once raised that was never properly answered. It has to do with the Transporter. The Transporter deck has little circles upon which each person to be Transported stands just before they are atomized and beamed off to who knows where. If a person is too fat to fit on one of the little circles, would only a column of their insides be atomized and the rest of them left behind in a kind of squishy glom of unbeamed human goo?

Buying swim suits has to be cheaper cause all that's needed is something to cover the saggy baggys.
