It's probably neither here nor there at this point, and I'm replying to a post that's nine hours old, but the Ravens never intended to start Flacco right away. As I recall, he was going to be the #3 initially but both the guys in front of him got hurt or sick or something, so there was no other option but to run him out there. It worked out OK.

Oh, as for the topic: I think I'd have gone with Jones as MVP, but if the winning team's QB performs well he's awfully hard to beat for that award.
