Browns | Team waives Young
Mon, 5 May 2008 13:33:01 -0700 The Cleveland Browns announced Monday, May 5, the team waived OT Eric Young. |
Chalk him up as yet another one of those guys that the NFL just doesn't think is anywhere near as good as fans do. All told, most of us have probably never paid attention to him on a single snap, and rely on the so-called expertise of internet draft "gurus."

SIGN HIM! He's awesome!
PRINT 'EM! Best team EVAR! CUT HIM! He sucks! DAMMIT CARL! :cuss: :banghead: |
Just thought I'd save us all some time.
|
Young is injured and probably going to have to be kept and paid on IR for a season before you can even properly evaluate him.
|
*goose voice* GOOOO GET'EM MAV!
|
Literally the Quentin Moses of the 2008 Draft.
|
That may be the shortest NFL career ever.

Him and his agent were stupid to sign with Cleveland in the first place. I think it should be pretty obvious that UDFA's should sign with teams with very little depth at their position so they have the greatest chance of making a roster.
I disagree with people saying he isn't as good as people made him out to be. Big deal he got cut. Like I just said, Cleveland has alot of depth on the offensive line. He should have never signed there. If he was not injured I see no way he wouldn't have been a 1st day pick this year. |
