Firefox v27.0
Haven't really used Firefox in a long time but after the latest Chrome update that screwed up the scrollbar and 'X' tab close etc, i went back to try it.
Updated to the latest on the Beta channel, version 27.0 ( http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/beta/ ) So far it's very nice ... for the first time in years firefox has regain the snappy performance and speed that it had a long, long time ago. Scrolling is smooth and quick and page loading is so much better. I haven't check for memory leakage yet. I had given up on Firefox tbh but this latest version might just bring me back. :hmmm: |
Chrome is a pain the ass but I love that it's synced across my phone, tablet and desktop. I'll continue to suffer.

I'm glad you posted this. My mom emailed me earlier today and asked me where the side scrollbar went in her browser. I don't use Chrome so I had no idea until I read this.

They changed the look of the scrollbar a bit, but it's still there and works fine for me. What is it that's not working for you guys?

FYI there is a extension in the chrome store that brings back the scrollbar also they screwed up the aspect ratio or something so clicking isn't 100% accurate. I can no longer close tabs by use the X. i have to right click or shift W. On some web pages i cannot click on stuff at the very, very top of the browser. ugh :banghead: |
I have no idea how you guys can screw up Chrome.

The only problem I had was, the aspect/ratio of the address bar was off.
So, when I was typing in the address bar half the text was hidden making it hard to read as I was typing it. Lasted a couple days, gone now. I noticed the scroll bar being different, but there wasn't any problems with it. |
