I have to work it as usual.

Double time? Double time and a half?

Some dumb broad in my neighborhood decided that 9:30 tonight was a good time to go out and walk her dog.

Holiday pay plus time and a half. Nice money but I would like to be participating in the activities to be honest.

And then the idiots who want to drive down the street aren't any better. Can't they see that we're busy lighting off our fireworks out there?

Look at it this way - you'll hav emore money than the rest of us tomorrow, no hangover, and all of your digits still in place. (I'm assuming on that last one, of course)

In my neighborhood, that's a sure way to get fireworks shot at your car.

And then to top it all off, when my son went over to the playground to light off our artillery shells, there were some little kids playing over there, so we had to go do it somewhere else. We had to move our chairs and everything. Shit pisses me off.

Oh, my work is open. I'm just one of the lucky few that got a holiday off for once.

And thats a sure way to get a visit from the police.
