grbac was a probower where is he at

Rain Man 12-31-2004 03:41 PM

Hmm. Yeah, Grbac might make the list. Where would you rank him?

Demonpenz 12-31-2004 03:42 PM

i dunno 90 or so. Was the qb during some winning seasons. Threw for 600 yards in a game and possible could throw a football over a mountain

I looked at the top 5 and didn't see Sean LeChapple.

Who is the ringmaster of this circus?

beavis 12-31-2004 03:44 PM

Starts to get kinda thin after 50, huh?

Yeah, possibly. The interesting thing about Grbac is that he has some very good performance, but also some major gaffes, and his career in KC wasn't that long. I wouldn't argue with him being on the bottom of the list, but it's close. I think maybe a guy like Manusky or Birden may have had a larger net positive impact, but Grbac's Pro Bowl may give him credence to move past them.

D. Cherry was the first saftey i heard the term "Ball hawk"

The Lowery/Stenerud rankings are hard, too. I've got Stenerud at 13 and Lowery at 31, but I view them as being roughly equal. Stenerud's HoF bust gives him a big boost, though. It's hard to compare a kicker against other positions.

Demonpenz 12-31-2004 03:54 PM

are those players that are still active on the list for their projective stats, or are you saying that they are there already?

I'm saying they're there already. They can still move up or down based on what they do in the future.

I must have been too young to realize alt was really good, but i would think niel smith would be above him.

Or it maybe a list no matter if it is in reality perfect, always looks wrong to me.
