Was the Defense really that good or was it....

Was the defense really that good or was it the absense of Kubiak in Denver that helped? I'm only saying this because the Broncos didn't exactly look that good last week either.

The defense was alot better than it would have looked at any time in the past 8 or so years but did Denvers O make it seem better than it actually is?

We held the Broncos to 9 in their house...thats enough to win the game. What more can you ask for?

The Broncos averaged 6.4 ypc at St. Louis. They averaged 4 ypc against us.

Also, I find it very hard to believe that Shanahan would let anyone mutilate his offensive system.

Take away the no huddle stuff with Cinnci and this D has looked solid.

We have a D again.

We need 2 OTs.

I think it was a little of both, we played well, but we did it against a struggling offense. It will be real interesting to see how our D plays on the road at Arizona in week 5, because even if they look good against the Niners, some of it will be attributed to playing at home.

Also, even when Kubiak was there, didn't Shanahan call alot of the plays? I might be mistaken.

Shanahan always manages the offense.
