Although tbh we have drafted several QB's "already", we just haven't drafted a good one "already". |
I am ready for him to be number one.

Nuke the entire ****ing QB roster and start over?
|
Only 1 option or Bray....cut him
|
Dude can't even stay healthy on the practice squad, why on earth would you depend on him to be the backup qb?

All I know is this:
If, at this stage of the Chief's franchise history, you find yourself advocating for the acquisition of another FA for the Quarterback position over drafting and developing a legitimate, high round prospect, then you are ****ing dead to me. You are and idiot. In fact, there does not exist in the entirety of the English language a proper and fitting set of nouns, verbs, and adjectives to TRULY describe what a brain-dead, waster of oxygen you have become. You are worthy of nothing, and deserve every ounce of bad luck, bad calls, and ass-whippings the NFL sees fit to bestow upon you. You are the problem, not the solution, and you should probably never speak of football around people with an IQ higher than that of a house plant. Thank you, and goodnight. |

You don't nuke an entire set of QBs if for no other reason than the QBs help to coach the system to the new guys. It makes training camp that much harder for the entire team if the QBs are all trying to learn the system at the same time that they are trying to run 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills. This is the kind of comments that makes people look silly. We need to add talent at the QB position but you don't get stupid about it. If the Chiefs are going to get serious about drafting a QBoTF then you keep Alex Smith and lets the rookie earn as much playing time as he is ready for. If he can start Day 1 then fantastic but you don't go nuts. I will be ecstatic if Andy Reid just shows some real intent to draft/develop a young QB. So far he has half-assed it at best. I doubt we see anything different next season. We will draft a QB in round 4 or later. We will bring in a veteran QB FA that keeps all the young guy's fight for the 3rd spot. One young QB will get a mysterious injury that maintains appearances that we are really trying to develop a young guy. |
unless the chiefs plan to move up in the draft, there is no reason to draft ANOTHER late round qb having bray in the wings. he knows the playbook left and right, thats way better than bringing in a rookie.
now, if foles restructures his contract, then cut bray. not after five years. |
I really hate to say it but I'm going to:
I would be ten times more excited about the upcoming season with Bray under C than a guy that "Have no Mahbles" |

However it is almost impossible to say what they will eventually develop into. Keep in mind the overall idea is not to develop a third or even 2nd Stringer if that's what they develop into then it does not hurt you to have frequent turnover and play the numbers game in hopes of finding and developing a special talent If it has already been determined that your prospect has hit his ceiling then it's time to bring in a new guy to see if he can be developed into something better than what you have |

Alex Smith isn't winning jack nor shit for this franchise. Romo at least has the skill to elicit hope. |
