LOL at the hypocrisy of Sly calling out another actor as lazy and greedy.

How is that hypocrisy? How many Oscar moms has Bruce Willis received? How many movies, succcessful movies, has Willis written, directed or produced?

Sly is a ****ing workaholic, man. He's a ****ing stud.

Willis is just becoming an old, predictable actor.

IMHO Willis' beat acting was in Pulp Fiction. He actually made you appreciate the role he was playing.

Frazod 08-08-2013 09:13 AM

Didn't Kevin Smith have a diatribe about Willis being a lazy douche as well?

Willis apparently wanted a cool million a day... i'd can him, too.

What i'll never ever understand though, is why in the hell Ford would want get involved in such a mindless romp... dude is slumming big time.

I have to agree with dane. Sly resume makes him boss.

I assume it's probably fun for them. Plus they get paid an assload of money. What's not to like?

These movies sucked. And I love 80s action flicks. The last Rambo was awesome too

Have you seen any Ford movies in the last ten years or so? Bad is too kind a word for them.

Viewed as b grade action flicks, I enjoyed the first two, and will watch the third.

Eh, he's 71 years old. Most of his roles have been serious and even somewhat dour. This will give him an opportunity to have some fun with other "action stars".

I haven't personally worked with Stallone but I have two good friends that have worked closely with him (a producer and a post supervisor) and they rave that he's the consummate professional, so that's appealing to most.

I just meant his choice in roles. Commercial over artistic. They all are"chasing the money" and that's fine. I'm cool with that. just don't try and pretend your above that when your making Rocky 7s and 8s instead of more Coplands. He does seem like a cool dude though, and Willis comes off like a douche at times.

You know, I don't think I have. None of them has struck me as interesting.

Copland is set to become a TV series.

I actually think it was pretty cool of Sly to call out Willis. It's very clear that Sly is catering to audience and all of the other guys are cool and on board. By making this tweet, he doesn't have to explain to the press later why Willis wasn't involved.

Without the audience, these guys are nothing. Willis seems to have forgotten that part. Maybe it was one too many Die Hard films.

Do you have any good Willis or Stallone stories for us, Dane?

Not really "good", per se.

My friend that worked with him in post on the first Expendables film said Sly came to the studio each day wearing sunglasses and never took them off, even during each screening. He'd hand him a notepad full of notes at the end of each session. All he said was Hello and Goodbye.

My other friend worked on the the later Rambo films. They shared a trailer for weeks and while Sly was polite and professional, he was never "friendly". Not a dick but just a professional. He said you'd never know it was Rambo or Rocky when he wasn't on set.

I've never run into Willis, although I was invited to one of his brother's infamous parties around 2003. We had something going on, so I declined and was never invited again.
