Yes I remember, I've been one of the biggest bitchers about it. These used to be some of the best races of the year.

Martinsville is the only race I have ever seen in person, and I still get it and Bristol mixed up somehow.

The only time Dale was booed while winning. People were pissed off in the stands. I really think it caught Earnhardt off guard.

Those tracks are both short but nothing alike. Bristol is a high banked high speed short track. Martinsville is much flatter and not as fast.
