French Onion Dip
 

There's only one good brand and I've never found it anywhere except the Ozarks. Hiland French Onion Dip is the bomb. I got the dip and bag of Wavy Lays and some Coke over ice.....MMMM. It ain't health food folks.

One 16 oz container of sour cream.
One packet of Lipton onion soup mix.

Stir together. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Eat.

Better than any pre-made dips.

Hiland is all over the Midwest. I prefer Heluva Good French Onion dip.

A&E is better than all the rest.

That's probably really good but I've never seen anything touch the Hiland.

It's not my thing, but I purchased the Trader Joe's brand caramelized onion dip for a party a couple weeks ago and it got destroyed.

Wavy Lays and Dean's FO dip for me right now, with dr pepper cherry over ice.

Hickory farms used to have a great red onion dip mix, but they don't carry it anymore.

I'm gonna have to make a bologna and Cheese to go along with it all.:thumb:

how to make Dry Onion Soup Mix & or french oinion dip
2/3 cup dried, minced onion
3 teaspoons parsley flakes
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons turmeric
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
add to sour cream

I just had a gigantic fried egg, ham and provolone on demi cheese bread from the target bakery
