Wow! Haven't seen you in forever. How are you doing? How's the weight control going for you? Sorry to say I've put 125 of the 180 I lost back on, but at least I know how to do it now. Hope things are going well, my friend.

Greetings ... Floppy ... doing good ... well, except for a wasted NFL season ... not been around here very much coz little reason to read Chiefs news.

I fully understand the "Sorry to say I've put 125 ..." been there done that ... I hear people saying "yo-yo dieting is not good ...." My reply ... is it better to weigh 555 lbs? That's what I'd weigh if I didn't occasionally take some off. So, I have nothing but encouragement for you. Keep at it man.

I held the weight off until this past summer ... got back up to 224 ... back down to 215 yesterday. I quit doing my power walking coz I was doing physical work in the garden, etc., but that wasn't enough. I'm back to 3 miles a day 4 to 5 days a week. Yep, it's a struggle for us fatties. Thing that got my attention ... notices that a size smaller makes pants and shirts wear so much better.

Man, you gotta stop. I can't keep up with you. As fast as you are losing, you betta be careful or your'll be down to nothing soon.

Joking aside ... I genuinely rejoice with you. I remember the struggles you have had in the past ... I remember from whence you came ... and, I know the struggles of getting to where you are now. So, YES ... CONGRATS!!!

I, also, know the feeling of being down to 200 ... you feel so much better, you move so much more easily, your choice of clothes are so much more wide open (you can wear anything you desire and you enjoy "the fit"), and as Bowser said, you look so much better. ... did I say congrats for experiencing the results of your difficult process. Makes is all worthwhile.

For all of you struggling ... Buck can be your example ... NO not with that team he follows :D ... if at first you don't succeed ... enter the next year's contest.

Are you talking about weight loss or the Chargers/Chiefs?

Manila-Chief 12-16-2012 07:34 PM

Well, it appears to me that both of our teams have way more talent than the records reflect ... so, not sure either of us win on that front.

You serve as much better example of getting your social life back in order.
