Then there is the turn on who will get the gavel when Clay and Jax are gone, different promises were made by Pres and V. Pres. Pretty good setup for a season of internal conflict, it just played a little frantic and instead of being clear, it's open to interpretation.

yea, love all the internal infighting and lying going on.

Also find it interesting that Jax is lying to Opie about his intentions. Telling him he wanted him right there next to him when he gets the gavel.

So when will Jax tell Opie the truth? Hes got to betray Opie or Tara. Which one? My guess is, Jax stays with the club and Tara ends up leaving him.

Either that or Tara ends up going the route of Opie's first old lady. Clay and Gemma always seem to not trust her and not being able to trust someone in that lifestyle leads to death.

With the whole manuscript back story it seems from day one they have been pointing to Jax getting out or changing the nature of the club. I don't see the draw to either one really, as I viewer I like the outlaw stuff and really get bored with the whole Tara-jax interaction.

I think they have managed to keep Tara/Jax fresh. She has changed over time and become more "hardened" to the life. Not quite Gemma hardened though.....

The show has a set ending in a few years from what ive read. So its either Jax stays and takes over leaving Tara behind, or he leaves with her. I think it could go either way.

Deberg_1990 09-28-2011 08:02 AM

Nice show last night, even if it seemed like a bridge or filler episode.

Could it be that the Cartel thing might only be temporary? "Can we Trust them?" "Only as much as we need to"

Thought the Tucson charter story was interesting....but why would Clay have an issue with dealing drugs but no problems with transporting it?

Loved the Piney/Tara/Gemma stuff......IM wondering if Tara is going to last much longer? Will she be killed or leave town?

Potter trying to stir up trouble was fun. Visting Otto in prison with photos of his dead ex Luann.

Where was Opie, Uncer and the new sheriff last night?? Their contracts must only allow them to appear in a certain number of episodes?

Oh, and Sutter has clarified some in his blog about the Juice stuff storyline that was brought up last week.

Glad he blogged about the racial stuff as after last night I was even more confused to see an SOA chapter of mostly Hispanics. For the first time in a while Tara was at least intersting to me. I am glad to see Piney get a bit more of a role so far this year. An episdoe without Opie seems to be a waste. Love that guy and seems to really encompass what a Biker is about.

I really like the interaction between Gemma and the sheriffs wife. Gemma always seems to be plotting something so I dig when she gets invovled with things that appear to be outside the MC but you know somehow she is working an angle.

Tribal Warfare 10-04-2011 09:06 PM

Well say bye bye to Juice in the finale I assume.

kcxiv 10-05-2011 01:28 AM

Yeah, Juice is done. There is no way he lives. Someone from the crew has to die, and his ass is the unlucky one.

Season 4 Episode 3.

Kozik is jumped by the black street crew. One of the Black Kids calls him Lemonhead. That was Kenneth Johnson's nickname in The Shield, which Kurt Sutter was involved in as well.

Love it.

Buck 10-05-2011 04:10 AM

Nice. Aceveda from The Shield shows up in S4E04. Gardocki is also in this season.

P.S. If you like this show, try watching The Shield. That's a great show too.

Buck 10-05-2011 05:31 AM

The last time they had a main-ish character die was in Season 2 with Halfsack.

That being said, I have a really bad feeling about Juice.

Nice episode. We finally got confirmation that Clay killed JT. Then they confirm that Uncer truly loves Gemma, which obviusly has alot to do with why he does the things he does for the club.

Not sure i buy the Juice storyline 100%. WOuld he really risk his life to betray the club? If they found out he was black, wouldnt they just kick him out and not kill him? So why would he choose to do the things he did?

INteresting that the reached back 2 years with the Luann/porn storyline. Although they left it open at the time, thats still a long time to reach back. heh, funny how Jax and Opie boned the same porn girl...LOL

Anyone get the feeling Clay is going to get killed by Jax or Gemma by the time this series ends?

David Hasselhoff? Really??

jlscorpio 10-06-2011 07:37 AM

Yeah, the Juice storyline seems to have holes in it. I see all this eventually coming to a head with Jax/Tara vs Clay. The question will be, where do Gemma's loyalties lie. My money is w/Jax/Tara. Then Jax will run the club the way JT always wanted it. Or maybe the whole club turns on Clay after Piney spills the beans? Great season already.

Deberg_1990 10-06-2011 07:50 AM

oh, and why did Bobby lie to Otto at the end? Didnt have the heart to tell him the truth?

Anyone think Otto is starting to get pissed about always just being a little "pawn" ?

jlscorpio 10-06-2011 07:55 AM

the whole Otto deal is a vivid illustration that the Clay Morrow-lead SAMCRO is all about the $$$. Loyalty is fading fast. I believe Otta may be next in line for the Reaper.

I'm not buying Juice getting kicked out for being mixed race. How many other minorities have been represented in the SAMCRO charter as well as the others? Juice is going to run...

KcMizzou 10-06-2011 06:23 PM

I just recently realized that Otto is played by Kurt Sutter. (Creator of both this and The Shield.)

I did catch that "Lemon Head" reference Buck mentioned though. Very cool.

Sutter created SOA. He was just a writer on The Shield I believe? He's also married to Katey Sagal. For not being an actor, he's does a nice job as Otto.

Oh ok.

And yes he does. He certainly looks the part. (even off the show) I wonder if any of SoA comes from life experience.

Loved when Jax popped that B*tch at the end. : )

Clay has to die when this series ends. Its the only logical conclusion.

on another note, Clay plotting against Tara is a freaking stupid storyline, as is Juice being afraid of being outed as half black. Lame.

The way I see it is Tara gets offed, then Jax takes out Clay and becomes the MC's President. Since Tara's gone the two most important things to him are his sons and the club. Thus, continuing him being patched and transitioning the club going legit.

Perhaps...i really thought he was going to turn on Potter there for a minute. Sucks about Juice, i really liked his character. Tara has got to be extremely close to saying "fuck this sh*t, im gone" right? Is the Layla leaving thing supposed to foreshadow Tara leaving?

What did Uncer say to Taras boss at the hospital i wonder?

Funny scene when Boby asked Ima if she had anything to do with the death note. heh, she was obviously terrified.

What was Piney planning with the shotgun?

Only thing i didnt like was Jax chasing after the shooters on his bike. Why would he do that and risk drawing attention to himself?? Just seemed like an excuse to throw in an action scene.

Buck 10-19-2011 02:20 PM

I doubt Juice is dead. You could hear a branch snap and a thud as the Sons logo faded in and out.

I gotta say after getting caught up, I'm not as enamored with this season as you guys seem to be. Some cool things have happened in an action movie sense, but it's like the last couple of years where every season they've stretched the bounds of credulity even further. Not saying it's bad or anything, but it's getting hard to suspend my disbelief for some of it.

its like you do what they say or, hell, there is no or, you jsut do what they say.!

jlscorpio 10-26-2011 11:36 PM

so Jax pushed for Opie to get the gavel. Clay ordered the hit meant for Opie, but killed Donna. Clay killed Piney. Opie's gonna knock off Clay, get the gavel, and let Jax go to be w/his family, off scot free. Just my $.02...

Netflix has the first 3 seasons, but probably wont add the 4th until next year sometime. Torrents would be your best bet, but im no expert on torrents.

Oh, and i believe FX's and Hulu's websites puts the episodes up, but only after 7-10 days after they air on TV. Thats how alot of websites are now.
