What the heck causes that?

That would explain the long CPR, though. That's a long time for the brain to be without blood.

That really makes no sense.

I’m not trusting Twitter here.

The kid could be dead, ****

Demonpenz 01-02-2023 08:26 PM

His brain wasn’t without blood. They were doing CPR.

Bad sign. Doing CPR again? You don't stop to wait on mom after rescuscutating someone. I wonder if that is why they pulled teams off the field. May have gotten word he flattened again and dodnt want to tell teams in oublic

Hate to speculate having a pulse is good but who knows what rhythm the heart was in. 9 min CPR is not good

Has a pulse not breathing on his own

Shit. Not good. But maybe not the worst either. Damn, just sucks for that kid. And his family. The terror is just awful.

Fishels 01-02-2023 08:27 PM

I know this a somewhat insensitive question. But let’s say the game is postponed. Does the score stay the same when they play again

I'll be insenstive about this, but is this worse than the Utley injury or the Stingley injury in terms of the impact on the players? I don't know what they were seeing, so it appears to be more traumatic. But in those other games, they just kept going. They've never paused like this.

I think times are different and generations of football players are different. CTE has increased awareness of the cost of the game to one's future. Millennials and Gen Z have a different attitudes toward work, and put more emphasis on their life outside of work (football). Not a bad thing, in my opinion.

It may not be head related.

Could be cardiovascular.
