Bob Dole 09-24-2000 09:48 PM

So Bob Dole sits here at home sick all week and has to hear repeatedly what a superb football team Denver is. How Denver has the best OLine in the league. How Mike Anderson is a hoss. How Shanahan is a genius and Denver has an awesome system. Bob Dole has to read the web site where EVERY expert picked Denver to win. Nothing but blowing the Denver horn all damned week.

KC comes into Denver's house and puts it to the Marvels of the NFL, and not only does ESPN not mention the game in the intro to Sportscenter, Bob Dole has had to sit here and watch coverage of 6 other games and freaking BASEBALL highlights for 15 minutes with not one mention of a hard-won victory.

This crap, year after year, gets pretty fucking tired. How about some damned credit where credit is due, guys?

Thanks for letting Bob Dole get that off his chest.

Bob Dole said it better than Luzap could of, so...

Luz
we don't get no respect...

Then when they get to it, they show the Mike Anderson TD in the 2nd half, a TG reception, the Alexander TD catch and the Patton INT and it's done. 20 seconds of coverage. Sheesh...

Unfortunately we're going to have to win a Super Bowl again before we get much notice. Denver under Shanahan became a "glamour" team, and the national media just doesn't see anything sexy about our team. Heck even the Rams were getting very little attention coming off their SB win because Washington and Tampa were getting all the press...

Dole - They don't like to advertise their own stupidity and to flow right past it. I'm ready for monday night!
