Nominations for your favorite game protagonists/Heros
 

I was curious about what the general populous thought who has been, (is) their favorite main character/protagonist/hero in the gaming world.
There's a lot to pick from and at the end, I'll make a poll and we'll pick our favorite hero to go against our favorite villain from the next nomination thread I make here in a day or two.
Please list the characters name and what game he/she is in.

I'll start: Nathan Drake from the Uncharted games is one of my favs.

Although he isn't the main hero, I've always been pretty partial to Auron. Dude's just a badass.

Hale is highly under-rated. I liked the first two resistance games very much. The third one was terrible.

Solid Snake from metal gear. I've never been much of a video game guy but I've always enjoyed playing those games.

There is no describing the rage I felt after Kojima's bait and switch with MGS2:Sons of Liberty.

Got to play as Snake for the little ten minute opening, and then stuck with that whiny little bitch Raiden for the rest of the game. **** you Kojima.

MGS2 is one of my favorite games.

3 was meh and 4 was meh as well.

Renegade Femshep from the Mass Effect series. That's a bad bitch.

Joel and Ellie, Last of Us. Raziel from Legacy of Kain is also high up there. I wish they'd remake Soul Reaver in HD.
