Turn your rep on, buddy. I want to give you a secret message.

Jeez. That post you quoted makes me want to jump off my roof into a vat of AIDS acid.

How far away is the draft?

I've said it in a few other posts, and I will say it again here. Any team that looks to draft a "franchise QB", needs to make sure they have an O line that is in place and they need to have weapons for the QB to get the ball to. If KC drafts Smith, they better have gotten a true no. 2 WR, and they need help on the O line. they DO need help, regardless of what some of their fans are saying. When you have the number 1 pick, you MUST make the safe pick or trade down, do not use that pick on a Boom or Bust, or Risk factor type of player.

Oh, for ****'s sake...

After the draft it will be an early spring of the Chiefs D- draft grade. Then off season workouts of Geno/Wilson/Barkley eating a granola bar on the sideline. Then an early summer of the overdrafted QB acting like a spoiled brat on the sidleline. Blaming standout 1st round draft choice Jon Baldwin of running the wrong route.

1. The first overall pick.
2. Last year's 3rd rounder. (Donald Stephenson)
3. 2008's 1st rounder. (Branden Albert)

To expand further, even if you can get Albert to re-sign to play guard, then draft Joekel #1 overall, you are essentially using the highest pick you will ever have to upgrade guard.

Monumentally stupid.

That still doesn't truly describe how bad of an idea it is.

I still say we go Geno number 1. But if Alberts back can't pass the physical and we don't keep him then I'm fine with EJ Manuel I like the kid he just needs development way more than Geno but he has good upside he needs more consistency in his accuracy
