Cali Chiefs' New Mock Draft (Assuming an Albert trade)

So the assumption I'm making is that we get Miami's 2nd 2nd round pick. So here we go. Mock my mock at will.

1.1. Eric Fisher, LT, Central Michigan
I hate this pick already. I felt like a dirty douche just typing it. But we have boxed ourselves into this corner. I prefer Fisher to Joeckel. I think he's got a higher ceiling, and is generally a meaner player. I like mean at LT. So wishing we had locked up Albert long term, but there it is.

2.54. (From Miami) Jon Bostic, ILB, Florida
His stock is really rising. I've seen a couple of mocks with him in the 2nd round. I think he's a beast and would immediately step in next to DJ and absolutely own in the middle of our defense. I've seen some say we can get him in the 3rd, but I think he's that good.

3.63 Gavin Escobar, TE, San Diego State
Good value here, and a guy that steps in immediately and competes as the kind of pass-catching TE that Alex Smith needs to be successful. I think he'll be a productive TE in the NFL.

3.96 (Compensatory Pick) Rambo Baccari, S, Georgia
I think it's possible he's still here at 96. A perfect addition to the secondary to go along with Berry and the IED. Adds good depth and could start.

4.99 Aaron Dobson, WR, Marshall
I've read a lot on him and feel like he's a ready-made NFL WR. He would definitely give us the help we need, as well as depth to take some pressure off D-Bowe.

5.134 Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
A total Walter Football pick, but it's true that his character has driven him down the board. Reminds me of Justin Houston, who has turned out to be the only steal of *****'s era in KC. The talent's too good to pass up here.

6.170 Kenjon Barner, RB, Oregon
Why do we need a change of pace guy? Let's just load up on speed guys, and give our offense another gadget to use. Love the talent this late.

6.204 (Compensatory), Denard Robinson, WR, Michigan
I love this kid's potential. We could use him out of a read-option look as the QB, as a guy in the slot, as a KR/PR, maybe even in the secondary. The speed and quickness is just great, and the league is a speed league.

7.207 Michael Buchanan, DE/OLB, Illinois
Just a depth pick here.

I do not find your picks from 63 on to be reasonably available players. That said, it would be a huge talent infusion.

No offense to Direkshun, but this might be the best mock I've seen so far.

I highly doubt that Rambo, Dobson, Montgomery, and Buchanan are there where you pegged them.

Shut it man, this is how it's going to go.

Like I said, just my mock. But I'm so depressed about LT at 1.1 that I may have taken liberties elsewhere.

But I also might have reached a bit for Bostic, but I don't think so. I also think Escobar is there (if not Vance McDonald from Rice).

Just so you know, I've been big on Robinson for a while. I like the Barner and Robinson picks.

Another guy I'm interested in is Ace Sanders.

After reading the profiles on the two tackles, I'm hoping for Fisher as well. Maybe take Montgomery with the comp pick. Bostic in the second might be a little reach but the Chief's have to come out of the draft with a starting ILB. Gotta thing we'll take a 5 technique somewhere in the middle rounds.
