So... what'd you come away with?

Biggest haul for me were three books I've really been wanting:

My brother got me America's Test Kitchen's DIY book, the wife picked up The Science of Good Cooking, and my parents gave me the Modernist Cuisine at Home.

Also got a couple new pans, a new corkscrew and aerator, a couple new knives...

Good stuff.

New toolbox, put my foot through one this year...long story.
Kobalt drill bit set and tape measure
New pair of jogging shorts
Giant bottle of my Cholula, favorite hot sauce

My daughter, who is the best kid ever, sent me;
Gordon Freeman (from the Half Life game series) Action figure
An offical Half Life Head Crab hat!!

Merry XMas All!!

My wife made me open one yesterday morning. She said I could use it while I was fishing yesterday. It was a Simms Fall Run fishing jacket.

I have to wait for the rest until wife gets home from work tonight.

wine cooler(fridge, not bottle)
box of assorted omaha steaks(too fat)
samsung galaxy tab(whatever the **** that is...wife said i needed it)

What kind of wine fridge? I got a new one of those over the summer, and the ****er has a burned out fan now... my red side (it's a dual zone) doesn't cool at the top. Bottom is fine (cold air sinks), but the upper half of that side stays right around room temp.

Tab is like an ipad but better.

If you think the steaks are too fatty then just put them back in the box and ship them on to me.

This is my wife's idea of only buying a few presents for each other.

Got a Best Buy gift card and a check, as well as a leather portfolio with a genuine pre-cut sheet of dollar bills (which is actually pretty neat - you see money all the time, but always in separate bills).

Won't be getting much today since I bought this for myself a few weeks ago.
