Sweet. Whose Line is it Anyway is making a comeback

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...b584_blog.html

Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie, and Ryan Stiles are returning, apparently. Aisha Tyler will be hosting. This summer.

I may watch this.

Cephalic Trauma 03-01-2013 06:25 PM

Love that show.

I'll watch

gblowfish 03-01-2013 06:49 PM

Ryan Stiles is one of the funniest people on the planet.

Rain Man 03-01-2013 06:56 PM

At first I didn't like it, but then I did. Initially I didn't laugh, but then I started laughing. The show didn't strike me fancy at first, but it grew on me.

Buehler445 03-01-2013 07:30 PM

Wife ****ing loves the show but hates Drew Carrey. She will be ecstatic when I tell her.

cyborgtable 03-01-2013 07:39 PM

Sweet, I love that show

BlackHelicopters 03-01-2013 07:41 PM

Never heard of this.

Direckshun 03-01-2013 07:44 PM

Aisha Tyler? Who?

Thank god Drew Carey will no longer be associated with them. As good as everybody is/was, he dragged that show down single-handedly.

The show's funny, but sometimes the outtakes that don't make it on TV are even more hilarious. You can usually find them on YouTube.

I've actually imagined you to look just like Drew Carey for quite some time now. True story..

The one with Richard Simmons was ****ing hilarious.

I only watch shows where the points matter.

bowener 03-01-2013 10:00 PM

This better not interfere with the production of Archer.
Aisha Tyler being the connection I'm making...

Every day after work, before dinner, my wife watches "The Talk". Aisha Tyler and Julie Chen fill my daily quota of "Ethnics I Want To Bone".

Sassy Squatch 03-02-2013 08:03 AM

Just as long as none of the chicks (besides whoopi) come back.

very underrated show imo

That one blonde gal was pretty good. I don't remember her name.

And an earlier observation is correct. I like Drew Carey and his humor, but he was the weak link on this show.

Baby Lee 08-19-2013 10:55 AM

Episode 7 of the new show had the most horrifyingly funny green screen. The two that could see what was going on tapped out at the end in horror and laughter. I was in tears.

Laughed really throw the whole thing, they seem to be finding their stride.

I thought his laugh helped the show though.

Literally did not know this was on (yet). Love Aisha Tyler (and the old BBC crew, although I wish Mike McShane was in the mix.)

Yeah, that one I didn't watch. Didn't she turn into Jay Mohr somehow.

Absolutely loved the british version. Colin and Stiles appeared on it....same for Greg Proops.

The fat guy on the british version was my favorite........and Props was/is my favorite "game" they play.

I am almost ashamed to answer this one because it means I watched the show too much.

She actually "died" in the show when she was in her car on the way to check on her brother who she thought was on a plane that was crashing because everyone on the plane was dead. The plane hit her car and she was killed. Part of the story line was she wouldn't "cross over" and then that was when Jay Mohr took over as a College Professor who helped the Ghost Whisperer with identifying the evil entity who kept her from crossing over.

Man...it's sad I know all that.

Doesn't sound too bad, I was vaguely aware she was there for a while and he was too and it didn't over lap and both were close to whatsherwhozzits boobs [not romantically, just close friends or assistants]. But I didn't know who was first and who followed.

That show would have been 10000X better if she and Hewitt made out.

That's Mike McShane. He has lost a lot of the weight ala John Goodman. He was in the Kevin Cosner Robin Hood movie, had a recurring role on the show Brotherly Love, and was an episode of Dr. Who last year. He was also the psychiatrist that had the heart attack in Office Space.

It depends on the bit. There can be some clunkers for sure. But it's got to be so hard to do.

Rasputin 08-22-2013 10:51 AM

I've always wanted to see Oswald (Diedrich Bader) be on Who's Line.

It always pissed me off he never got to be on that show. He was the funniest on Drew Carey show.

The funniest of all the bits I have seen is still the "Props" scene with Richard Simmons....I still laugh when I watch that one

Some of the songs are like 75% filler, but yeah, it would be damn near impossible for most people to be funny while trying to make up a song 10 seconds after being handed a topic and song style. There were some pretty good lines in the one with the synchronized swimmers the other night though.

Hehe, I loved how uncomfortable Ryan and Collin were with those two. Normally they would just lay down on the "sleeping bags" but they obviously knew that it would just come across wrong. Not to mention the reaction from thier wives later! :D

007 07-02-2019 10:40 PM

While the show can be somewhat repetitive, every now and then they still manage to hit a high.
