If Andy Reid took the Chiefs to 5 AFC Championship Games over the next 14 years...

Would you be happy or not?

That would mean 10+ playoff victories. Maybe One Superbowl appearance and no wins.

Would you be okay with this?

KCrockaholic 01-03-2013 10:27 PM

Yes.

Prison Bitch 01-03-2013 10:27 PM

No, I like losing.

KS Smitty 01-03-2013 10:28 PM

No.

There would be a lot of emotional pain after losing a Super Bowl, but 10 PLayoff wins is more than the CHIefs have had in their entire existence. So in the end Id be fine with it. If he did those things here, he'd be a god.

14 years and no SB win?

Hmmm... no.

It would be better than it is now, but in the end it would be... So what?

Hammock Parties 01-03-2013 10:28 PM

Andy Reid is winning a SB here so as far as I'm concerned he's the Messiah of Chiefs football.

Trade in 3 or 4 of those AFC Champ games for 1 SB win and I am in.

milkman 01-03-2013 10:28 PM

**** that.

I ain't getting any younger.

htismaqe 01-03-2013 10:29 PM

Happy?

Put up a ****ing statue at the Truman Complex.

teedubya 01-03-2013 10:30 PM

Just checking the pulse. Reid's Philly resume is pretty ****ing impressive compared to what we've had since Schottenheimer.

DaFace 01-03-2013 10:30 PM

I'll probably be in the minority, but I would be 100% fine with that. I'm more concerned about having sustained competitive football than I am about the team winning the SB. I mean, the expectation is that a competitive team MIGHT win a SB at some point, but the fact of the matter is I'm entertained as long as the team looks good and is competitive in every game.

It would be frustrating to get that close and not win, but yes.

CaliforniaChief 01-03-2013 10:32 PM

It would be a good step for sure. But no, I want a title. And I think Reid can get it.

KC Hawks 01-03-2013 10:32 PM

Obviously compared to where we are right now, that would be great. But once we are in that position of coming up short, it won't be.
