Round 1 - Peyton Manning or Matt Ryan?

In one of my leagues, I have this crazy decision to make...

Peyton @ TEN in a must game for both teams really.

Matt Ryan @ CAR in a must game for ATL if they want to continue the chase for home field and all that entails.

1 point for every 25 yds
5 point bonus for 300 yds passing
-3 points for an INT

In this format, Peyton still scored 27, 29 and 51 points during what many believe is the worst 3 game stretch in his career with turnovers.

Ryan has scored 22, 17, 32 points - not that far off, but a MUCH better matchup this week.

My opponent is starting Garcon...

Thoughts?

Manning.

Yeah - that's who I have in there right now. The matchup is so tempting with Ryan, but they could very well run all day. Manning - you know he's going to throw it 50 times, most likely... just gotta hope for low turnovers.

I would go with Manning. Tennessee's pass D was always bad and the whole team seems to have quit on Fisher now.

It's funny - I drafted Ryan a round higher than he should have gone just because I planned on the typical Indy resting their starters issue that always seems to happen. So, I always expected this to be a no-brainer...

Easy, you go with Manning. Even though he's tossing all these picks, chances are he's throwing the ball 40 times anyway. If Peyton passes the ball 40 times he's going to have atleast 2 TD. The Falcons run the ball to much.

You probably shoudlve traded one of them by now unless it is a keeper league, but yah Manning. You can't really bench him in a must win game.

Thought about it - it is a keeper league, but I was still tied for best record overall and #3 seed thanks to tiebreakers.

So, considering the playoffs, etc - I kept 'em both.

Manning because there is no offense in Indy without him. If picks don't kill you in the league, then it's gotta be Manning.
