I know I'm a visitor looking in here; maybe its because of that that KC's situation doesn't look as bad as it does to some of the faithful here.

When you have a 7-9 squad and essentially stand pat, have the 2nd most cap space and can't sign your two biggest FAs from your team, promise a QB competion for Cassel and deliver nothing, the situation isn't good.
