For you younger bronco fans, I'll just give you a quick factual recap of 1997.

The broncos were Waaaaaay over the salary cap.
2. The broncos offensive line was found to have vadoline on their jerseys, an obvious violation of league rules.
3. There was a phantom holding call on Greg Manuski of the chiefs. Clearly, on replay, he touched no one. This call negated a field goal that would have changed the game.

The NFL wanted Elway to go
Out on top, and that is how it worked.


If u are a fan of the Broncos, then you know damn well that the championship was GIVIN to denver
