94 Jeep G. Cherokee Help: Blinkers & Hazards

Well I thought my first thread would be something cooler than this, but I need the mechanics of the planet to step forward and help. I have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Tonight while driving I noticed by blinkers had stopped working. No click, no faster click, no flash on the dashboard, no light in the front or back. My headlights and taillights work fine. My flashers also do not work nor is any sound made when I put them on. I checked the fuses (flashers and blinkers) and unfortunately that's not it.

No my Jeep does not need antifreeze, yes I do need help as I'm driving back from STL to Wichita in a few days to see the family for Easter and something tells me I'll draw the attention of a trooper or two if I make the drive without a single turn signal. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Use hand signals.

Replace the flasher. that is what it sounds like to me. should be near the fuse box. could be anywhere, tho.

Is this the flasher unit you are talking about? If so what does this part usually look like and is it an easy fix?

Something tells me my arm out the window isn't going to do much at 79mph on I-70.

They're about 1" round things that plug in to your fuse box, or usually somewhere close to it. Very easy to fix.

I can't believe none of these posers have told you to change the blinker fluid.

Blinker fluid. Great, and where do I put that? Just add it to the gas?
:p

Alright, sounds like I need to call O'Reilly's in the morning and check into a flasher unit. Any 2nd guesses so in case that one doesn't pan out?
