This might get more replies than your Rokon thread.

If this were a food thread it'd get at least 200 posts.

Rasputin 05-26-2014 10:02 PM

I was just wishing this upon every Raider and Bronco out there.

one time i was so sick that i was vomiting and having explosive diarrhea at the same time.

felt like 'eating shit/dying' at the time

KcMizzou 05-26-2014 10:57 PM

WTF is going on here?

penchief 05-26-2014 11:03 PM

I've often wondered about the origins of that expression because it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense.

Rather than actually eating shit and dying from it, I wonder if it wasn't meant as a way of dismissing someone by telling them to "eat, shit, and die" as a way of saying "get lost."

Eating, shitting, and dying pretty much sums up the cycle of life.

It can be pretty rough if you don't have a towel too bite down on

BullJunkandIron 05-27-2014 12:15 AM

I cooked in the crockpot a bunch of potatoes that had about hundred cockroaches in the bag with them. Of course I washed off the potatoes before cooking them. I ate them and thought I was going to die. Couldn't decide if it was the potatoes on Popeyes that I had also eaten around that time. Dying would of been a better choice at that time. In the army I had eaten bread from bags that also had cockroaches in it and never got sick. I'm going with it was the Popeyes.

It was a culinary explosion in my mouth. When I eat shit I like it pan seared, with a Marsala wine reduction, throw some shit-ake mushrooms in it and pour over the top. Maybe some lemon baked potatoes with garlic, and an ass crack souflet. Good stuff!! Haven't encountered the dying part personally but I've been told when you put it together with the shit it leaves you with a feeling of worth and achievement!! Thanks for asking!!
