Leavitt turned us down.....again. Had no interest in Co-DC title with Cosh. Who can blame him. We flamed out on other opportunities to get better coaches in. Our best answer answer was a 62 yr old "has never been" as a secondary coach.

Coach Snyder needs to go, and for good. This Program is in serious trouble with all the lack of talent, especially on D, and the absolute lack of Coaching talent that exists today. Note: Sean Snyder was just named ST's assistant and Associate Head Coach. I think I'm going to puke...............

Nepotism FTW!!

Burns leaving was a kick in the nuts too.

Christ, did OB really offer Leavitt a job with the condition that Cosh was still here?

Good god. Gameday coverage is embarrassing to this state. Happy Birthday, Kansas!

Yup. The exploitation of that young man's tragedy by Massa Self is disgusting.

Yes, he did.

So what is the KState feeling on this game? What kinda odds do you give your team?

Old Dog 01-29-2011 11:38 AM

slim to none for me, just hoping for a good game
KU is a 11 1/2 point favorite for a reason
stranger things have happened though and I would love to see it happen

Saulbadguy 01-29-2011 11:56 AM

I'm confident K-State will win...

At 2:00 pm when the women play.

Old Dog 01-29-2011 12:10 PM

There was a HUGE line shift overnight on sportsbook. It went from 11x to 10
The reason I posted 11x earlier is that's what I got it at yesterday.

I've heard my one & only KSU friend say that today's game is the make or break to their season. Really?

Not in my opinion. Anyone (from a fans perspective anyway....players and coaches should always expect to win) who expects a win hasn't been paying much attention this season. I'm hoping that Frank can find the switch to turn things on, but am not certain this group has it. Even if they do, I would be suprised if it is flipped today.
I HOPE it happens, but would be suprised. I do think we will cover the spread though.

That said a win could be the thing that helps them turn it around while a blowout loss could be a dagger....who knows

Don't mistake this as a "boo hoo, woe is us" post, I just don't think that if we lose, it's a deal breaker. We're underdogs for a reason.

No, but it would go along way toward getting them back on track for the tourney.

Saulbadguy 01-29-2011 03:33 PM

Girls game is pretty close. Could KU get their first victory against K-State in any sport before this evenings game?

Saulbadguy 01-29-2011 04:00 PM

Well, Half Sport-U will have to wait until tonight to notch their first victory against us this season.
