Avast is still good, although it's getting bloated too.

I'm still using a combination of Avast and SpyBot with the occasional run of malwarebytes. Seems fine.

Avast is hands down the best free virus protection out there. Turn off sounds. It has voiceover shit that will wake you up in the middle of the night~

Even MSE is pretty decent these days.

I've been using iSafe lately because it does other performance increasing tasks. Like it quite a bit.

Both AVG and AVAST free rate pretty good, with Avast having a slight edge in this test. PCMag tests gave the edge to AVG recently I think. Based on this link, MSE is a joke...didn't realize it was that bad :/
