Kurt Vonnegut Was Compassionate
Friend of mine sent me this. It's a letter posted by a lady who corresponded with Kurt Vonnegut in 1990. Here's a link:

Vonnegut is basically my favorite ever.
|
I would say his books should be required reading, but I don't think he'd like his books forced upon anybody.
"... babies—God damn it, you've got to be kind." Thanks for posting Mr. Blowfish. Your recaps are phenomenal. |
There had to be something in it for him. He was trying to get laid.
|
Slaughterhouse Five, imo, is one of the greatest works of satire/fiction this world has ever seen. Masterful
|
One of my favorites. Thanks for sharing.

So it goes
|
what are the scribbles in sharpie? his signature?
|
Those scribbles looks a little suspect....

He was a true humanist and truly compassionate to his fellow men and women.
He truly called it like it is, in his own unique style. One of the finest American writers ever, in my opinion. |
The scribbles are authentic for sure. His books are full of similar illustrations done like that.
|
Awesome. Thanks George.
