Clark should fire Pioli earlier than later.

He needs to replace him so Bowe and/or Albert can be re-signed by an interim prior to season's end. Even if we can't find a replacement before the end of the season, retaining talent must be a priority.

Pasta Little Brioni 11-16-2012 06:24 PM

I have a feeling he'll be back next year. A 1st round QB and Romeo's "retirement" will buy him even more time.

stonedstooge 11-16-2012 06:26 PM

Dudes on local KC radio going nuts on Pisoli today demanding he be fired. Dumbass Maas said this morning that we should take up a collection for Clark to pay off Pioli's buyout. Maas is as insane as the Cheaps

BlackHelicopters 11-16-2012 06:27 PM

Dreaded sense that Pioli will be back.

Rasputin 11-16-2012 06:29 PM

We all want him fired. Therefore he wont be. Sucks to be us.

CHENZ A! 11-16-2012 06:30 PM

What player in their right mind would re-sign with us at all, let alone with an interim GM in place?

Should be, but when has this franchise ever done anything right?

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Honestly, that's all it would have taken to retain Carr.

BossChief 11-16-2012 06:37 PM

Bowe couldn't sign an extension if he wanted to. He has to wait till the year is over.

They absolutely need to get something in place with Albert, though.

Rasputin 11-16-2012 06:44 PM

Dustin Colquitt needs to get paid too.

Amazing the foresight Herm Edwards had in drafting that guy.

Colquitt will probably be the one to get the tag

MahiMike 11-16-2012 06:47 PM

The quicker the better. There are at least 3 other teams contemplating firing their GM. 1st in line wins.

One that wants to play for a team with loads of potential. One of the most historic franchises. A fresh start with no where but up to go. This awesome ****ing fanbase.

okcchief 11-16-2012 06:54 PM

If the stadium is black, and the media blows it up I think we have a small chance. I have a bad feeling though.

Truth.

Team MVP...yet again.

Dayze 11-16-2012 07:11 PM

I think what happens with the Romeo situation will dictate what Clark will do with Pioli.

ASSUMING that Pioli is some kind of problem about keeping Bowe/Albert.

But i would imagine/hope that if Hunt plans on making a change at GM he would do it early. With 3 or 4 games left in the season when the firing probably happens?

We need to give the new GM time set to get ready for the draft and have first dibs on coaches.

we hurt ourselves last time by waiting so long.

The punter is the most important player on Herm's offense.

Romeo situation? As in if Pioli chooses to fire him or not?

I'm pretty sure if Clark wanted Romeo fired, Pioli would do it without thinking.

spanky 52 11-17-2012 06:28 AM

Until Pioli is gone, no coach worth a damn is going to consider KC. As for Bowe, I find it interesting that all of a sudden he opens up to the media and lets it be known he wants to stay in KC. Maybe he's not worth as much as he thought he was.

As much as I wish that was true, it's not. Carr flat out said he wanted to be a Cowboy. He grew up dreaming of playing for them. And I can relate. As a child playing football I always said I'd take less money to be a Chief. And Carr didn't even have to take less money. Can't fault him for that.

kcchiefs88 11-17-2012 07:16 AM

Actually he was drafted in 2005 under Dick Vermiel.
