You could be a Cowgirl fan! I think we played one of the better teams in the AFC pretty well. Granted we didn't win which is always disappointing, but what I will be looking for next week is improvement. We are in a "youth movement" and the defense can only learn from their mistakes and successes. I don't expect a win against Tennessee, but I expect to see a close hard fought game. I wouldn't be too upset with a win though http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif

I agree. I'd be a lot more pissed off right now if we were playing all our vets as has been the norm in KC. I have enough patience to understand there's going to be a learning period when we're playing the youth. And we still hung in there with some AFC heavyweights until the 4th quarter.

Addendum:

I actually wouldn't mind the Chiefs winning less than half of their games this year as long as they were as competitive as today. With the high caliber opponents we will face all year, our young players will learn against some of the better players and themselves become better. Then, next year with a 3rd - 5th place schedule.....

Actually todays game raised my expectations from preseason. I now believe the Chiefs can at least compete in the division, unfortunately, they may end up second again, with another monster schedule.

I agree, kcred.

I think I should make "I agree" my signature, i use it so damn often. http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif

I don't mind a youth movement. What's the alternative? Bennett up the middle on 3rd and 6? Moreau can't do worse. Why doesn't Gunther see that?
