Big Bang Theory: Main actors agree to $1 million per episode...

Not bad work if you can get it...

It's $1 million each for the actors per episode. The advertisers must pay ridiculous amounts to sell their products.

For CBS, the show is extremely lucrative, delivering an estimated $326,260 per 30-second spot — the highest ad rate for a non-sports program on broadcast.

I don't find that show funny at all.

I wonder how much the second tier characters that make appearances every few episodes get.

Amy Farrah Fowler renegotiated and gets $ 60K per episode as does the cute blonde with big boobs.

This must be Hollywood accounting. The $325K per 30-second commercial doesn't come close to paying salaries and production costs.

I don't know how much it cost to make each episode in TV but with 8 minutes of advertising at that price that is over $5 million per episode in advertising.

I am shocked though at the difference in pay between those girls and the three main people.

That show sucks so much donkey dick it's not even funny. It makes 2 and a Half Men look like South Park in its prime.

Someone here (can't recall who) suggested that I watch this show. I really enjoy it. Thanks to whoever it was.

No, I do understand the "jokes". That's the problem. Opie and Anthony did a segment where they took out the laugh tracks in certain episodes, and people calling in legitimately didn't know which parts were the punch lines. YouTube it if you have time. It's painful.

Those are in addition to the $1 million per episode. These actors are set for life.

Errr, doesn't that show that they didn't understand the jokes?

Most sitcoms are this way.
