For giggles, I went back to look at Magadan's stats. Season high HR? 6 Season high doubles? 28 Career season averages? 4/22

I remember when I was young, thinking he was a good hitter (BA driven). How times have changed.

Oh, yeah, I love going through stats at baseballreference.com of players who as a kid in the 70s and 80s I thought were good, because they hit for avg. or stole a lot of bases, and look at the advanced metrics and see they were mediocre at best. I'm like :facepalm:
