Stabbing at PA. High school

Seems like schools are getting targeted more and more.

At least the suspect used something other than a gun so we don't have to hear that shtick this time around.

My wife is a teacher a small school, and even there she sees all kinds of crazy shit. It doesn't matter how locked down and secure the building is, these problems start at the home and need to be fixed there instead.

Graham said the attacker, whom he did not identify, had been a victim of bullying.

"My point is this could’ve been avoided," Graham said, adding that his daughter had been assaulted at the school. "That's my personal opinion.”
No...it couldn't have. The whole "no bullying" campaign is a nice gesture....but you're never going to get rid of bullying. It's not going away. All you can do is teach kids how to deal with it.

True. A lot of victims of bullying are going to at least fantasize about getting a bloody revenge. The thing is, you're not supposed to act on those fantasies lol.

I was bullied a LOT when I was going through school. I was overweight and because my Dad was in the Air Force....I didn't have the long friendships that everyone had growing up in the area. When I was young, probably around 11-12, I wrote down a list of the people who bullied me all of the time and how I wanted to hurt them. My parents found it and sat down and talked with me about how that wasn't the way to react to it. They enrolled me in karate....which led to meeting the friends I hung out with the most.

20 kids stabbed by one person? Were the kids running towards him? How did he get 20 with a knife, he's good.

Oh come on now...maybe this can be Michelle Obama's next pet project now that she's solved the child obesity epidemic with her new school lunch program. She can have her husband pass some laws and regulations that will complicate things immensely for both the schools and parents and really show no net gain but hey it will make her feel good!

/off to DC!
