Discovery Channel's Plane Crash
Anybody catch this special? Basically, it's a mini-documentary of a giant experiment to crash a Boeing 727 into the desert so that they can study what happens during a plane crash and how safety could potentially be improved. It's pretty damn fascinating.
Not to mention the fact that they apparently spent $4 million on the show. That's got to be one of the biggest budgets ever for a cable show. Anyway, anybody watch it? (And if not, they're repeating it a couple more times at least.) |
Pawn Stars for me

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. It was on late a few nights ago and I only caught the beginning of it.

I watched it and was terribly unimpressed. It was almost like they wanted a bigger mess but they blew the money on a one shot deal. Plus the Mexican government was on them to clean up the mess and get out.
Duck Commander is a far better show anyway |
I taped it, can't wait to watch it.. Don't spoil the plot!

It's on tomorrow night.
Set to record. |
Did somebody screw up and leave the lens cap on? Ha!
|
I believe we recorded it, but if not, this will be a good reminder to do so. I was very interested in it from the previews.

VHS or Betamax? :) |
My god. How many people were on board when they did it? That's terrible.

I will mention that it probably could've been a 1.5-hour special, but I guess they wanted to get their money's worth. They stretch some parts out pretty long.

I wonder if everything will just blow up and disintegrate like the plane in Shanksville PA

Good thing it didn't happen in midair!
