Anyway. Shit, I've always stayed up too late. And I get up at 4:30 every weekday lately. I actually feel like crap if I get 8 hours sleep anymore. It sure isn't due to eating right because my eating habits are horrifying.

Interesting facts. It's good to be open. Mad props @ you.

mdchiefsfan 06-19-2013 08:39 AM

yea working at 5 am means I would have to be in bed while the sun is still up to get 8 hours. It messes with me.

Molitoth 06-19-2013 09:04 AM

I live off 4-5 hours of sleep. It's not enough and my body suffers, but it's the price I pay to be a great father of two AND still get to keep doing my hobby, (music).

The Spurs/Heat game did not help me last night...

I really do TRY to get 7-8 hours of sleep a night...but usually hit around 6.

It's odd...but sometimes I feel like I stay up later on weeknights than I do during the weekend. I got my shit done flipped backwards Cleatus!

As I've gotten older, I really have needed to get more sleep. Usually I try to get at least 8 to 9 hours per night. Less than 8 and I'm not too good the next day.

Mr_Tomahawk 06-19-2013 10:45 AM

I can be out in the field at job sites a lot of the day...or I can be sitting in front of a computers for 8-10 hours pushing a mouse.

The days I have to stare at a computers screen for 8-10 hours after getting 5-6 hours of sleep is rough. Can't focus. Can't think. Emails...god I hope they are comprised in like 2-3 sentences, anymore and I am lost.

It is a little better those days I am out of the office as I am on my feet moving around, so it is as bad.

alpha_omega 06-19-2013 11:05 AM

Yep....game 6 messed me up last night too.

Hopefully 7 won't be the same thing on Thursday.

Thig Lyfe 06-19-2013 11:25 AM

Do you guys eat late dinners too? Is that OK for the body? Thanks for all the answers, really appreciate your participation in this thread.

I usually eat around 7pm...but I am sucker for having a snack before I go to bed.

Duno how that affects me the next day...

I think it makes your morning poo, just a little bit bigger.

Honestly, if you can get around to it, a good workout and cardio will put you out much better than sitting around watching TV, etc. If I can get into a good groove, it's fairly easy to go to bed around 9-10 and get up at around 5. I don't have kids, homework, activities, and all that either.

Pop a 5 mg Melatonin around 9:45 pm - 10:00 PM. I am out around 11-11:30 and wake up at 6 am feeling fine.

LMAO Whoa! That melatonin is some powerful stuff! No not really, Google melatonin and check it out. It's a natural sleep aid. Your body already produces it but may not be doing a good enough job at it. All I know is it helps me sleep and I don't have any of the grogginess in the morning like I would taking pharmaceutical sleeping pills. Hell for that matter even with Tylenol PM I would feel drowsy the first part of the morning.
